Every gesture, every word, every thought, every choice, every turning of a leaf—becomes part of a continuous, embodied practice. How we relate to others, how we speak, cook, eat, guide our children, tend to our deepest relationships, create our homes, and refine our self-care all shape this living prayer. How we meet life’s challenges, hold relational betrayals, respond to calls to prayer and karmic processes, and prioritize our inner alignment—how we think, what we hold on to, and what we learn to release, these subtle threads together form the sacred fabric of personal devotion. This is the true yogic way of being.

These nuances cannot be conveyed in a single class; nor acquired through certifications, number of hours in training, they are realized only through 'sampurna sadhana '- relational commitment, consistent practice, and the courage to challenge the patterns we have inherited socially, culturally, personally, and physically. This is the transformative depth of YogBhava, is a practice that unfolds over time, reshaping body, mind, and consciousness and therefore, outcomes.

Steeped in Indian classical arts from childhood, Nina is a practicing Sakaas artist, published writer, and global speaker, bringing rare cultural intelligence and refined creative sensitivity to every teaching, performance, and mentorship. As Director of the Healing Arts Initiative, developed with the Canada India Network Society and medical professionals, she bridges traditional sound healing and yogic wisdom into contemporary frameworks, offering practices that honour lineage while addressing the nuanced needs of modern life.

As founder of The Bandish Network, a 7,400-member collective of lineage artists, Nina cultivates spaces where history -informed knowledge, mentorship, and cultural storytelling intersect. Her leadership supports artists in sustaining their practice, sharing their work, and connecting deeply with communities, while addressing gaps in modern approaches to holistic wellness and creative expression. This integration of traditional discipline and contemporary insight shapes a teaching style that is precise, adaptable, and profoundly personal. She holds BA (Hons) in Fine Arts and research fellowship from the Royal College of Art in London.

At the heart of YogBhava is the understanding that yoga is an expressive art, a living dialogue between body, mind, and spirit. Nina’s practices cultivate heightened awareness, self-trust, and the freedom to embody one’s truest self. Through alignment, breath, subtle-body inquiry, and creative expression, her approach supports the emotional body in revealing its natural character, guiding practitioners beyond habitual patterns toward clarity, steadiness, and authentic self-connection.

Whether through private mentorship, immersive workshops, or community programs, Nina invites each practitioner to experience yoga as a personal, evolving state of being—your own bhāva—rooted in lineage, awareness, and heart-centered presence. This is a practice that transforms the very way one moves through life. We hold space for ourselves, we are our own best healers, our own best friend, we are our own gift of nature - believe in that....and simply fall in love wth your true nature and expression.

We operate, play, and create on the sacred lands of the Kwikwetlem peoples. We honor our ancestors and satsangis, who overcame the challenges of forced migration and consistently prioritized serving others. We are thankful for their sacrifices, resilience, and pioneering spirit, which have allowed us to build our lives with courage, truth, gratitude and purpose, knowing that when we step away, the work must continue in its authentic form....
