The Bandish Network is a community platform developed from the ground up by Nina Buddhdev, growing from zero to more than 7,500 members through a sustained commitment to cultural connection, community building, and meaningful engagement.
For more than three decades, Nina has worked internationally at the intersection of culture, community, the arts, and diaspora identity, creating pathways that bring people together through shared heritage, creativity, and lived experience.
Bandish reflects this commitment in action. What began as an idea evolved into a thriving network connecting artists, cultural practitioners, presenters, venues, organizations, and audiences across Indus Valley, pan South Asian, Indo-African, and Indo-Southeast Asian communities.
At the heart of the network is a belief in culture as a catalyst for connection. Bandish creates opportunities for audiences to discover artists, organizations to develop meaningful programming, and communities to see their histories and identities represented with depth and integrity.
With more than twenty years of teaching, curatorial and cultural programming leadership, Nina brings a strategic understanding of value alignment through community engagement, creative programming, partnerships, and cultural storytelling. Her work is grounded in building sustainable relationships as sustained impact for a deeper growth.
